What data is processed

• The URL you enter and the result of the analysis, so we can show you the report and so you can return to it after paying.
• Your IP address, temporarily, solely to apply the usage limits that prevent abuse of the service.
• Billing details, if you buy the report. Dodo Payments collects them and, as merchant of record, processes them as an independent controller under its own privacy policy: Tarsier never sees or stores your card details.
• Your domain and the scores from your analysis, only if you expressly ask to appear in the public ranking. What's published is the domain, the score, the percentage of content that reaches the crawler, the speed measured by Google and the date. Your email, the report and any content from your site are not published.

No sign-up is required, no profiles are built, and no advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used. The only ones set are technical: the token that unlocks your report after payment, and your language choice.

How long it's kept

The analyzed content of your site (the text, the screenshot and the problems found) deletes itself:

• 72 hours if the analysis was free.
• 90 days if you bought the report, so you can download it again within that period. The files that reached you by email are yours and don't expire.

After that period only the record of the analysis is kept: the domain, the score, the date and whether there was a purchase. It includes nothing from your site's content. It is used to keep track of the service and, where there was a purchase, to be able to help you if you make a claim. Billing data is kept for the period required by tax legislation (art. 6.1.c GDPR).

Your ranking entry stays for as long as you want it. It's removed immediately from the button on your own report, or by writing to hello@gettarsier.com from an address on that domain. The legal basis for that publication is your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time without affecting anything else.

Legal basis

Performance of the service you request (art. 6.1.b GDPR) and the legitimate interest in protecting the infrastructure against abuse (art. 6.1.f GDPR). Where there is a purchase, also compliance with accounting and tax obligations (art. 6.1.c GDPR).

Processors and transfers

• Dodo Payments, Inc. (United States), which sells and charges the purchase as merchant of record and processes billing details as an independent controller.
• Render Services, Inc., where the application runs, on servers in Frankfurt (Germany).

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to hello@gettarsier.com. You can also complain to the competent supervisory authority (in Spain, the AEPD).
